Final days in Praha

Well I finally got a handle on the next country. First stop, ROME! On a scale of 1- excited I am over the moon ecstatic. We will only be there for about 3 days but it is going to be amazing. All I can think about is taking pictures and wine. Then after Rome, I am cutting back on the wine.

After Rome I have decided to go back and give Thailand another go. I wasn't there for long enough last time to really enjoy it to the fullest. I can't wait, it will be a totally different pace. I plan on doing things like running outside with out my lungs burning because it is so cold and without the fear of breaking an ankle on the cobblestone streets. I am also thinking of doing a yoga retreat. I need to find my center LOL. Prague has me all out of wack with the amount of wine I have had. Looking forward to fresh fruit and the beach. More to come on Thailand...

The last two weeks in Prague have been ridiculous. The following may or may not have happened.. If you are my mother and disappointed in what you are reading, then it did not happen.

About three weeks ago I met a guy in the elevator that spoke English, Score. He and I swear his 16 roomates are in med school. He invited me to go with him to a party that some of his friends from school were having. So Ashkan, his roomate Khaizer and I all walked to this party. It was a housewarming party for 4 guys that lived there. I had no idea what I was about to get myself into. I thought maybe there would be like 15 people there... NOT SO MUCH. First of all it was the most beautiful apartment I have ever seen. Hard wood floors, beautiful paint colors, huge wood beems everywhere, a view of a massive church across the street, and -not a joke- a spiral staircase right in the middle that went up to a loft. I loved it. There had to have been at least 50 people there. They were all beautiful med students, and all spoke English. The guys were so great and walked me around introducing me to everyone. I was a 3rd year med student if anyone asked haha. One random drunk guy came up to me and asked if I wanted to makeout later. I politely declined however we were all so confused on why he said later, he must have been busy right then.

After hanging out there for a while we went to some pub that I have no idea where it was or what the name was, but it was awesome. There was a secret hallway that lead to a secret jazz room in the back it was amazing. All in all it was a fantastic night.

And then there was Halloween. OY VEY. I was Sandy from Grease and it was so much fun. My hair was teased to perfection and I felt like a drag queen with the amount of makeup I had on but it was great. The highlight was the fried cheese! I felt like death the next day but it was worth it. There is a video out there somewhere of me eating it, I was on another planet in my mind and walked into a pole. All caught on tape. Amazing. Futuristic barbie (Kelsey) caught that moment! Future tense barbie and I went back early and Christine stayed at the club with our German friends that live in the apartment below us.

We usually communicate with the Germans through the window in our bathroom. If you open the window it goes to this weird open area that has wires and other industrial looking things, but also windows to other peoples bathrooms. So you will be brushing your teeth and all the sudden Colin will say "Hello?" and start a chat sesh. Very old school, I like it. One of the nights at their apartment may have ended with me passing out on the bed in our kitchen, proped up on the mini fridge. It is possible.
Somehow with all of this crazy partying I still managed to do 120 hour course in a month. They even passed me! I am now a certifyed TEFL teacher. Now I just have to use it. Maybe I can find a yoga studio that will trade me yoga lessons for teaching there staff English. Hummm. I am looking forward to doing yoga and pilates on the beach and not on a dirty hard wood floor and in the presence of creepy old furniture draped with old curtains.

Just a few more days in Praha. I am at a landromat washing all my Kenya stained clothes. Then I am going to head back to the apartment and pack up most of my stuff and ship it all back to the states. Won't be needing a wool pea coat in on the islands of Thailand.

One thing at a time. Next: Wine, delishes food, moped rides, and photography! Kally and Kelsey are about to take Rome by storm.
